The ChipNL Competence Centre (CCCNL) connects companies, knowledge institutions, and policymakers to strengthen the Dutch semiconductor industry together. We show the way, open doors, and provide access to facilities and networks that accelerate innovation.
Our story
The global chip market is growing rapidly and is crucial for energy transition, digitalization, mobility, and healthcare. The Netherlands has a lot of expertise in this field, but the playing field is fragmented and complex.
Therefore, the ChipNL Competence Centre has been established. Our consortium combines knowledge, infrastructure, and networks to strengthen and future-proof the Dutch semiconductor industry.
Together with startups, scale-ups, SMEs, knowledge institutions, and policymakers, we are building a sector that is internationally visible, innovates faster, and contributes to a resilient European semiconductor industry.

CCCNL is a collaboration of leading Dutch organizations. Together, we combine knowledge, facilities, and networks to advance the sector.
Our international position
CCCNL is part of the European network of 30 Chips Act Competence Centres. This collaboration increases the visibility of the Dutch sector and opens doors to facilities, knowledge, and partners throughout Europe.
In addition, we are a member of the Silicon Europe Alliance, a metacluster of 12 European clusters representing more than 2,000 companies and 400,000 jobs.
