From 7 to 9 October 2026, Dutch companies, research organisations and ecosystem partners are invited to explore Austria’s semiconductor and high-tech ecosystem around EBSCON 2026 in Graz.
The programme offers a practical introduction to the Silicon Alps region, with company visits, R&D insights and networking opportunities in Styria and Carinthia.
Explore the Silicon Alps ecosystem
Participants will gain first-hand insights into electronic based systems, microelectronics and related technologies. The programme focuses on knowledge exchange, best practices and new connections with industry and research partners.
Key topics include smart sensor systems, RFID and wireless IoT, cybersecurity systems, power electronics, advanced materials, thin-film technology, cleanroom technology and metrology.
Programme highlights
The programme starts with participation in EBSCON 2026 in Graz on 7 October. The conference brings together participants from Austria and abroad and will be held in English.
On 8 and 9 October, the programme continues with site visits in Carinthia and Styria. These visits are expected to offer insights into areas such as robotics, cleanroom technology, semiconductor testing, applied research, electronics prototyping and RFID solutions.
Why join?
For companies and organisations working in semiconductors, microelectronics or related high-tech fields, this programme offers a clear way to learn more about the Austrian ecosystem and explore possible connections with European partners.
This fits closely with the role of ChipNL Competence Centre: helping Dutch organisations find their way in the wider semiconductor landscape and lowering the threshold for international collaboration.
